The City Plan Board is a seven member citizen board appointed by the City Commission, with an additional non-voting member appointed by the Alachua County School Board. It reviews and makes recommendations on petitions that go to the City Commission.
The Plan Board Considers:
• Land use changes
• Zoning changes
• Special Use Permits
• Text changes to the Comprehensive Plan and Land Development Code
Meetings are held at 6:30 p.m. on the fourth Thursday of each month in City Commission chambers in City Hall at 200 E. University Avenue.
