Historic Preservation Board Meeting

The Historic Preservation Board will be conducting a “Virtual” meeting utilizing communications media technology (“CMT”), related to conducting local government public meetings while under the public health emergency related to the spread of Novel Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).  The City Hall building is closed to the public.

Historic Preservation Board meetings are aimed at allowing public input in decisions on proposed changes to historic properties within the City of Gainesville. At the meeting the board will determine whether the application meets the applicable city regulations.

Revisions to the Notice of Meetings may occur at any time permissible and are updated on the official bulletin board and the city website. The official point of notification is the first floor bulletin board in the lobby of City Hall (200 E. University Ave.). All other types of notification (The Gainesville Sun, Channel 12, city website and hard copies available in the Clerk's Office) are provided for the courtesy of our residents, and will be updated within a reasonable time after the official bulletin board, technology permitting.
