Gainesville residents elected Randy Wells as District 4 Commissioner for a three year term which began May 20, 2010.
Commissioner Wells currently serves as Chair of the Commission's Equal Opportunity Committee, and is a member of the Economic Development University Community Committee, Public Safety Committee,the North Central Florida Regional Planning Council, Community Redevelopment Agency, and the Poverty Reduction Advisory Board.
