Description Westside Recreation Center was dedicated to the people of Gainesville in 1972. Surrounded by a beautiful park, racketball courts, tennis and basketball courts, five full size baseball fields and 1.5 miles of shaded trails, Westside Recreation Center hosts children and adult activities throughout the year.

Skatepark

Description Westside Skatepark is located behind Westside Recreation Center on the corner of NW 34th ST and NW 8th Ave. There is no cost for using the Skatepark, however if you are under the age of 18, you must download a waiver and turn it in to Westside Recreation Center to receive a youth Skatepark card. You must have this card on you at all times if you use the Skatepark and are 17 or younger. The Skatepark is open from Dawn to Dusk, 365 days a year.
