Apartment Recycling Program

With approximately 23,000 apartment units and an estimated 50,000 tenants, apartment and multifamily properties represent a significant segment of the City of Gainesville's waste stream. The Solid Waste Division is strongly committed to enhancing recycling programs at these commercially collected communities. Tenant education and participation are critical to increasing the amount of recycling material collected from multifamily properties in Gainesville.
