Spring into Fitness is a program LifeQuest has designed to showcase personal fitness equipment and services for the City of Gainesville General Government and Gainesville Regional Utilities employees and their families. Our goal is to make personal exercise equipment, services, and the financial resources available to you for purchase. The Spring Into Fitness Event this year is March 21st from 5-7 pm.

There is a payroll deduction purchase plan designed to assist you and your family in buying services and equipment. Using payroll deduction, you are authorized to make purchases in amounts of $100 -$3000 for the following fitness related items:

• Health and Fitness Club Memberships (limited to one year only)
• Exercise Bicycles
• Treadmills
• Stairclimbers
• Ski Machines
• Steps for Step Aerobics
• Training Videos
• Rowing Machines
• Weights (machines, dumbbells, weight benches)
• Mini- Tramps (used for indoor jogging)
• Electronic Pulse Monitors
• Bicycles and Bicycle Helmets
• In-Line Skates and Appropriate Safety Equipment

It is simple!

1. You choose an item of equipment or a service.
2. You get a specifications sheet from the vendor or download the spec sheet from the download section below. This form describes the equipment or service in detail.
3. You get a written price quote.
4. You obtain approval by the City of the item and quote.
5. The City issues a check for the purchase, made payable to the vendor.
6. Pick up this check and use it to purchase your item or service.
7. You give us a copy of your receipt within 30 days of purchase.

Orders may be submitted to the City for approval and placed with the vendor beginning the day of the Spring into Fitness Event and ending two weeks after the event. Please mail your specification sheets to Kathryn Parker at Box 60 or for further information call (352) 334-5000 ext 5893.
