Parking Permits and Decals will be Available for Purchase Online Beginning August 5
|
The Budget and Finance Department is pleased to announce that residential neighborhood parking decals/permits will be available for purchase online starting on Tuesday, August 5, 2008. Decals/permits that are purchased online will be mailed to the property owner or property manager for the residents to pick up. This new online service will make it easier for residents to obtain parking decals/permits by reducing the need to apply in person at the Thomas Center. Read more...

City to Waive Fees for 150 Children Wishing to Attend Summer Camp

At the July 14 Gainesville City Commission Meeting, the Summer Heatwave Committee requested the Commission waive camp fees for 150 youth. In an effort to provide more youth the opportunity to participate in positive recreation activity, the Commission agreed to waive these fees for the rest of the summer for 150 youth ages 5-12.
