Holiday Schedule

Waste Corp. of America only observes six (6) holidays which may affect collection service:

2020 Schedule

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (Monday, January 20th): Delayed one day all week.

Memorial Day (Monday, May 25th): Delayed one day all week.

Fourth of July (Saturday, July 4th): No delays in curbside collection

Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, Nov. 26): Delayed one day only.  Will be picked up on Friday.  Tuesday and Wednesday not affected.

Christmas Day (Friday, Dec. 25th): No delays in curbside collection

New Year's Day (Friday, Jan. 1st): No delays in curbside collection

Collection for the above holidays and for the remainder of the week will be delayed by one day if the holiday occurs on a collection day (Monday through Thursday).  Collection will return to normal schedule the following week. 

Collection will remain as normally scheduled with no delay if any above holiday occurs on a non-collection day (Friday, Saturday or Sunday).

If a holiday is not listed above, collection will remain as normally scheduled.

Recycling Tip

Recycle your old holiday/party string lights.  There is a year-round string lights recycling container outside the lobby of the new administrative building at the Public Works Center, 405 NW 39 Ave.
