Bicycle/Pedestrian Programs



The City’s goal is to provide a safe, convenient, efficient, continuous, and aesthetically pleasing transportation environment that is conducive to cycling and walking. - (Thurs.) Bike/Ped safety at Ray Massey "Westside" Rec. Center summer camp.

29th 
- (Sat.) Bike/Ped safety & helmet fitting at Santa Fe College Gym for the annual "Stop the Violence Rally" for back to school. 8:00 am

AUGUST:

3rd 
- (Thurs.) Bike safety Course "Bike Rodeo" at Howard Bishop Middle track for Partnership Library summer camp. 11:00 am

9th - (Wed.) Helmet fitting and "Bike Rodeo" at Gainesville Fire Rescue (GFR) Safety City site for ABC's of Safety Camp. 9:30 am

17th - (Thurs.) Alachua County's Community Traffic Safety Team (CTST) meeting at Santa Fe College GTEC (SE Hawthorne Road), 10:00 am
