Construction for Duval and New Reserve Parks Scheduled

The City of Gainesville’s Wild Spaces & Public Places Department (WSPP) in conjunction with the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs Department will begin construction on two significant park improvement projects this March and are expected to be completed in fall 2019.

Museum Announces 2019 Black History Month Schedule

The A. Quinn Jones Museum & Cultural Center announces their 2019 Black History Month schedule of events for “Celebrating the American Black Experience.” Events include free programs for all ages, with prose and poetry, guest lectures, panel discussions, and a film screening.
