The Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs (PRCA) Department is excited to announce that new recreational amenities are planned for construction at Hogtown Creek Headwaters Nature Park, located at 1500 NW 45th Ave. New facilities will include a picnic pavilion, outdoor fitness circuit and a new playground. Traditional playground favorites are included, such as swings, slides and climbers. Additionally, unique and exciting playground features will be added, such as rope climbers, an oval swing, a zip line and outdoor musical instruments. Once complete, much of the playground will be covered by a shade sail. Adults will have access to a fitness circuit designed to provide a complete workout when users finish the fitness loop.
