Labor Daze Fest Returns to Bo Diddley Plaza

The City of Gainesville is proud to sponsor Labor Daze Fest, a free festival for working families. The festival is Sunday, Sept. 4 from 4-10 p.m., and is celebrating its fifth year at the Bo Diddley Plaza, which is located at 111 E. University Ave. in downtown Gainesville.

Entertainment at this year’s Labor Daze Fest includes Hard Luck Society, Maca Reggae Samba, Mama Trish vs Godzilla!, Stereo Vudu and The Duppies. There is a free rock climbing wall, more than 50 vendors, activities for the kids and free services for families. Gainesville Mayor Lauren Poe will present this year’s Dollar Raffle, and the winner will win up to $500 toward their utility bill.
