Stanley will help the City of Gainesville maintain its presence with current tourism partners, as well as help establish new relationships. He’ll also help in the creation and distribution of marketing materials and the collecting of tourism data.

Stanley graduated from the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications in 2009, with an emphasis in graphic and web design, photojournalism and marketing. During his time there, he held internships with The Gainesville Sun and the Deseret News in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Upon graduation, Stanley began freelancing for news publications and eventually he and his wife opened a local wedding photography studio in 2011. In 2013, he helped found a creative organization, Humanitarian Vision, whose goal is to help solve major world problems through a creative process. In the summer of 2013, Stanley and his wife raised more than $17,000 through a crowdfunding campaign to lead a team to Athens, Greece to help victims of human trafficking. While in Greece, Stanley and his team worked with five different non-governmental organizations, helping them to establish a creative approach to the issues of human trafficking through photographic portraiture with multimedia components. Much of that work is still being used and distributed throughout organizations in Eastern Europe today, and has won multiple awards including the PDN World In Focus award.

In 2014, Stanley expanded into the world of advertising and editorial portraiture, and regularly works with magazines and advertising firms around the state. His primary role is helping those organizations establish a visual presence within their respective communities.

Jeremiah Stanley has devoted his career to helping organizations maintain and establish a network of creative processes to better tell the stories of individuals within and among those organizations. His background and experiences make him exceptionally well-qualified to help the citizens of Gainesville and the visitors to Gainesville enjoy the gorgeous parks and cultural attractions that our wonderful city has to offer.
