Request for Applications for Cultural Art Non-Profit Organizations in Alachua County


The City of Gainesville Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs Department is accepting applications for the Florida Arts Tag grant from June 1-July 31, 2017. Applications are due by 5:59 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2017.

The purpose of the Florida Arts Tag grant is to provide financial resources for a specific project to arts organizations, programs and activities. The funds are to serve as seed money for arts organizations not presently supported by the Outside Agency Grant Program and for current Outside Agency recipients to create substantially new programming beyond their organization’s current reach. It is not the intent of this fund to support general operating expenses for an organization.

All Alachua County non-profit cultural organizations that are a registered 501(c)(3) are eligible to apply. Request for applications will now be accepted three times per year as indicated below:
