Office Equal Opportunity News

Please join the City of Gainesville Office of Equal Opportunity,  Alachua County Equal Opportunity Office, Center for Independent Living and the Alachua County Council of the Blind as we host the 2016 ADA Celebration .  This event will be held at the Senior Recreation Center, 5701 NW 34th Boulevard, Thursday, July 28, 2016, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM.

On Thursday, July 7, 2016, the city's Equal Opportunity Director, Torey Alston kicked off the process to begin an internal ADA self-evaluation of our programs, services and activities.  The goal is to assess the city's program accessibility to the public and individuals with disabilities.  Mr. Alston has notified all charter officers and departments of this process.
