It's Time for the Fourth Race of the 2016 Gainesville Biathlon Challenge

Want to test your personal best? Stride your way to new athletic goals with the 2016 Gainesville Biathlon Challenge. The fourth race of the 2016 Gainesville Biathlon Challenge is Saturday, July 16 at the Dwight H. Hunter (Northeast) Pool, located at 1100 NE 14th St.

The challenge is a series of six races, which consist of a 5K run and 800-meter swim, and continues each month until September. The race starts at 8 a.m., with race-day registration opening at 7 a.m. All of the remaining races will be at Northeast Pool. The August race originally scheduled at H. Spurgeon Cherry (Westside) Pool has been moved due to construction along Northwest Eighth Avenue (the running course).

Don’t wait - sprint to enter! Register early and save money by signing up more than two days before the race. When you sign up more than two days before the race, the early entry fee for each race is only $18.25 for city residents and $24.25 for non-residents. After that time, the race fee is $24.25 for city residents and $36.25 for non-residents. Proof of residency (GRU bill or voter ID) is required at time of registration.
