Join Us for a Discussion on Health Disparity

Join the Office of Equal Opportunity for its Dismantling Prejudices & Biases Initiative: Dessert & Dialogue, as attendees continue the discussion with part three (of seven), “Becoming American.”

This session explores what causes health to worsen as immigrants become American, and what can we learn about improved well-being from new immigrant communities. The session is Monday, Dec. 14 in the multipurpose room of the GRU administration building, which is located at 304 SE Fourth Ave. Registration begins at 5:30 p.m., and the film starts at 6 p.m. The discussion will immediately follow, with Dr. Nancy Hardt serving as the facilitator.

The Dessert & Dialogue series is free and open to the public.
