Hoggetowne Medieval Faire Auditions Aug. 29-30

The 2016 Hoggetowne Medieval Faire will return to Gainesville the last weekend in January and first weekend in February, and they are currently looking for actors, singers, tumblers and stage combatants to portray King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table and the characters for the Living Chessboard. 

Auditions will be held Saturday, Aug. 29 and Sunday, Aug. 30 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Thomas Center, which is located at Gainesville, 302 NE Sixth Ave. in downtown Gainesville. The Hoggetowne Medieval Faire will provide stage combat training for those interested. Please bring your driver’s license or photo ID. Anyone under 18 will need to have their parent or guardian present to sign required paperwork.
