Input Sought on Housing Needs via Online Survey and Housing Discussion Series

11/5/2019

Join the City of Gainesville for the Housing Discussion Series, hosted by the Housing & Community Development Division (HCD). The series intends to bring awareness to the nationwide housing crisis and engage our community in efforts to tackle housing challenges specific to the City of Gainesville. Through this series, residents and stakeholders will learn about high impact strategies that support housing that is affordable, and the public will have an opportunity to provide input on the city's housing needs.

In addition, the City of Gainesville will be developing a long-term Housing Action Plan that will prioritize and recommend which high impact strategies the city should consider in addressing affordable housing needs. The Housing Discussion Series will serve as the community engagement piece for the Housing Action Plan. Interested parties may also fill out a housing needs survey online at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/housingneed.
