Housing and Community Development Needs Survey

5/9/2018

We encourage all residents and stakeholders to take this online survey to prioritize how Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Home Investment Partnership Program (HOME) funds will be allocated over the next five years (2018-2022). As recipients of federal funding through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the City of Gainesville is required to submit a five-year Consolidated Plan and Annual Action Plan in order to receive grant funds under the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Home Investment Partnership Program (HOME). The Consolidated Plan sets the city's strategic objectives to address housing and community development needs through HUD funding and other resources. The Annual Action Plan outlines how the city will spend the funds it receives annually from HUD.

The survey is available at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/gainesvilleplan (English) and https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/gvilleplanespanol (Spanish). Responses will be kept completely confidential. The survey is web-based, and conducted by a third party vendor. Your name will not be attached to any results, and to ensure your anonymity, we will not report any results that have less than three respondents. The survey is user-friendly, and you should be able to complete it within 15-20 minutes or less.

We appreciate your willingness to get involved in the process and provide us with your feedback!
