Gainesville residents are invited to meet with their mayor and city commissioners to share their views and comments during the second "Focus on the Future" community forum scheduled for Monday, Feb. 6 from 6-9 p.m. at the Eastside Recreation Center at Cone Park, which is located at 2841 E. University Ave. (see map below for directions)
This community forum gives Gainesville residents the opportunity to provide feedback on what they want to see Gainesville look like in the future by addressing specific issues, such as economic development, parks, the environment, infrastructure and public transit. This feedback will provide elected officials information to make strategic budgetary decisions. Video from the first meeting in November 2011 and feedback from residents is included at the bottom of this webpage.
