Re-elected to the Gainesville City Commission for a second three-year term beginning May 2009, Commissioner Scherwin Henry currently serves as Chair of the Commission’s Recreation, Cultural Affairs & Public Works Committee. Commissioner Henry is also a member of the Community Development Committee, Community Redevelopment Agency, Gainesville/Alachua County Metropolitan Transportation Planning Organization, Alachua County Entrepreneurial Charter Schools Committee, the North Central Florida Regional Planning Council, and Alachua County Library Governing Board.
