Effective December 1, 2009 there will be an anticipated 10% residential refuse rate increase. This is due to the expiration of a 15-year contract and subsequent award of a new 7-year contract to Emerald Waste Services. The increase reflects rising costs in collection, disposal, processing and fuel. To view the new rates, please click here.
Effective November 1, 2009 residential curbside waste collection for both City and County will be Mon-Tues-Wed-Thurs. If your regular waste pick-up day is Friday and you don't know your new scheduled pick-up day, call customer service at 334-2330 or check the collection schedule map.
EWS Issue Track, a web-based complaint tracking system, is now on-line. Residents can enter a complaint on-line, receive an individual tracking number and track its progress until it has been resolved and closed.
