Girl's Spring Softball!!

Gainesville Fastpitch (GFP) Softball, Inc. a parent-run organization, in partnership with the City of Gainesville Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs proudly offers Girl's Spring Softball. They are currently accepting registration for the Spring 2012 season. Girls ages 6- 14 can register beginning, January 13th through February 11th.
The season will run from February through May with "All Stars" from June to July. Games are typically played on Saturdays and practices are held at NE Park.
Fees: $95 (includes jersey and socks)

Evaluation Day for Team Placement:
Saturday, February 4th, 2012 at NE Park, located off NE 16th Avenue from 10:00am until 2:30pm.
Division and times:
8U-10U: 10am until 12pm; 12U-14U: 12:30-12:30pm
Participants will be placed on teams according to their age as of January birthday.

Catch Spring Fever!!! Register Now for Gainesville Youth Baseball!!!!
The Gainesville Youth Baseball, Inc. a parent-run organization, in partnership with the City of Gainesville Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs proudly offers the “Babe Ruth Baseball” Program for children 4–15 years of age.
For additional information regarding the spring Babe Ruth Baseball program, please call (352) 226-0883 or visit the league website. Registration will be held at Albert Ray Massey (Westside) Park on Saturdays, January 28th and Saturday, February 4th from 9:00 am till Noon.

Program registration will be accepted at "Play It Again Sports" during their normal business hours or by going to GYB's website, downloading the registration form and returning by mail: Gainesville Youth Baseball, Inc., P.O. Box 357176, Gainesville, FL 32635-7176.
Registration Fees:
$90.00 for T-ball ages 4–6;
$120.00 for Rookies ages 7/8, Minors 9/10, Majors 11/12
$135.00 for Seniors Babe Ruth ages 13–15.

Practices start at the beginning of December. The season starts January 7, 2012 and runs through March 17, 2012.
Youth Co-ed Basketball practices are held at the Martin Luther King Center located at 1028 NE 14th Street. Games are played in Alachua County.
