These FREE programs are offered through a partnership with the non-profit corporation Noah's Endeavor, Inc., for children with special physical and developmental needs. The program teaches children to be comfortable on the field or court while they have fun and learn important safety skills.

Youth Coed Basketball = Sportsmanship + Character! No tryouts, all kids play, and it's fun for all! Practices take place at the Martin Luther King Jr. Multipurpose Center. Games begin in January and take place in  Alachua County and the surrounding areas.

Scholarships for $15 Off Registration  are available for families that are directly certified through the School Board of Alachua County (SBAC) for free or reduced lunch. You can request proof of free or reduced lunch through your child’s school or by calling the SBAC’s Food Service Office at (352) 955-7539, extension 1566. Families can also qualify through the City of Gainesville Family Application for Reduced Fees, please print from our website the Application and the Florida Income Eligibility Guidelines (which requires last 2 pay-stubs or proof of income for everyone in household). 

Age Groups: Birth Certificate is required. Age as of September 1, 2015.

5–6 year-olds/7–8 year-olds/9–10 year-olds/11–12 year-olds/13–14 year-olds 

Cost: 5–6 year-olds: City Resident: $68.00*; Non-City Resident: $100.75
7–14 year-olds: City Resident: $86.25*; Non-City Resident: $130.00 
*Proof of residency (GRU bill or Voter ID Card) is required for city residents. Prices effective October 1, 2015.

The Aces in Motion’s primary goals are to provide tennis and physical fitness instruction, life skills mentoring (discipline, team work, goal setting, problem solving, respect, and conflict resolution), and an enrichment academic curriculum in an after-school environment.
