Municipal Pools


PoolThe Aquatics Division encourages participation through our swimming programs, special events and activities. We will provide participants with the opportunity to enjoy water-related activities that promote safe swimming, water safety, healthy competition, sportsmanship and fun at our public swimming pools and facilities. Our highly trained staff is committed to conducting safe, fun and quality activities. Participants and patrons will be guided through wholesome experiences at our well-maintained swimming pools and facilities.

Pool Splash Pad Diving Well Lap Lanes Slide


Effective Monday, August 16th the slide at NE Pool will be CLOSED on weekdays. It will remain open on weekends. The slide at Westside Pool will remain open during weekdays & weekends. If you have any questions, please contact our Administrative Office at 352-334-5067.

Effective, Tuesday, September 7th, Mickle Pool will be CLOSED for the season.

"Birthday Party packages" are available at Westside Pool and at Northeast Pool. You must come to our Administrative Office to pay the deposit for the party.  For pool reservations or additional information please call our Administrative Office at (352)334-5067.

Northeast PoolDwight H. Hunter (Northeast) Pool - The Dwight H. Hunter "Northeast" Pool is part of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Multipurpose Center.

Season Pool Passes are available and are good for use at all three pool locations. The Season is generally from May through October (weather permitting).  You can purchase a pass at our Administrative Office which is located at 1024 NE 14th Street, Bldg. A, 352-334-5067.
