BILL IWINSKI, PGA (GOLF COURSE MANAGER)
Bill Iwinski our Golf Course Manager is a PGA Class A member and has been in charge of Ironwood since the City of Gainesville purchased the course in 1992. He was previously the Golf Professional/Manager at Coral Oaks in Cape Coral and was also the Head Golf Professional of the Highland Golf Links at the Meadows Resort and Country Club in Sarasota. Prior to that he was also a teaching professional and assistant at Bonaventure Country Club and Resort in Ft. Lauderdale when he started his career in golf in 1980.
Bill grew up playing just about every sport. He has lived all over the world in such countries as the Philippines, Canada, Venezuela and Ecuador. He is fluent in Spanish and enjoys any opportunity to speak with our customers from Spanish speaking countries. Bill has been married to his wife Alice for twenty-one years and they have two daughters, Courtney (15) and Michaela(13). "We love Gainesville....we have made some dear friends and it is a great place to live and raise a family".

JEFF CARDOZO (GOLF COURSE SUPERVISOR)
Jeff is in his 8th year at Ironwood Golf Course and has been the golf supervisor for the last 4 years. A former pitcher for the University of Florida, Jeff has used his athletic skills to become the longest hitter at the course. As 2nd in command Jeff helps oversee the daily operations and his responsibilities include the renting of the clubhouse for events/meetings, tournament/league operation, daily reports, and being the computer guru.
When not at Ironwood, Jeff uses his telecommunications degree to be a part of the Gator Radio Network at the University of Florida. He is the color analyst for Gator baseball, is the Public Address announcer inside the O'Connell center for Volleyball and Basketball games, and hosts a television show on SunSports called Gatorzone (Wed nights at 5:30pm). Jeff is married (Kristy) and has three children, Brooke (5), Austin (3), and the new baby Addison. If you are ever feeling up to the challenge he welcomes anyone who thinks they can hit it further off the tee!!
