The City of Gainesville Homeownership Programs are designed to increase homeownership opportunities for very low, low and moderate income residents of the City by providing: 1) downpayment assistance to first time homebuyers; 2) build and rehabilitate homes for resale at affordable prices; and 3) due on sale loans to prevent families from losing there homes through foreclosure.
