Performance Measurement
GFR and the City of Gainesville are members of the Florida Benchmarking Consortium.
Fire and EMS Services Master Plan
In 2004, Alachua County contracted with ESCi to develop a master planning document for fire and emergency medical services in Gainesville and Alachua County. That document is available through the County Manager's Office in the County Administration Building.
Special Assessment
The City Commission enacted an ordinance in 2008 allowing a special assessment for fire services. The Commission voted not to implement the assessment for Fiscal Year 2009.
