Classes are limited to 30 citizens and registrations are taken on a first-come basis. If space is unavailable, you will be notified and placed on a waiting list for the next session. Please register online using the form below.

Please note:

  • Registrants must be 18 or older to participate.
  • Registrants are responsible for transportation to and from each session.

Gainesville 101: Citizens’ Academy Registration:

Classes are limited to 30 citizens and registrations will be taken on a first-come basis. If space is unavailable you will be placed on a waiting list for the next session. You can also register by calling 352-334-5017. If you are interested in attending a future session, please e-mail gainesvillepio@cityofgainesville.org to be placed on the notification list for a future session (dates and times to be determined).
