Health Equity Access Survey

The 2018, the Bureau of Economic and Business Research (BEBR) at the University of Florida created the “Understanding Racial Inequity in Alachua County” report. This report shed light on racial disparities in many areas, including access to quality healthcare.

In 2020, COVID-19 has revealed the depth of health disparities in Gainesville. The City of Gainesville has prioritized health equity in our strategic plan. Our goal is to support more equitable access to quality healthcare. Help us take the first steps toward healthcare equity by filling out the following survey. We want to know what kinds of healthcare access you currently have and what kinds of services you would like to see in your community.

This survey will be open until Friday, Dec. 4, and data collected from this survey will be used to inform commission decisions on action planning. Your needs and your thoughts matter. Take 10 minutes to tell city leadership what you wish to see for healthcare in your community.
