Helen lived and worked in Phoenix, Arizona from 1981-1989 at an Area Agency on Aging nutrition site before taking over as the owner-operator of a residential home cleaning service. While in St. Petersburg, Helen became involved with the St. Petersburg Audubon Society, and found a connection with the "conservation conversation" in Florida. In 2002, Helen moved back to Gainesville, and started a career in real estate with Trend Realty, where she has worked for the last 12 years. While in Gainesville, Helen has remained active with our local Audubon chapter, Alachua Audubon Society, and has volunteered with many civic and advocacy groups.
